Community Park District of La Grange Park Consolidated Election - April 6, 2021 Pre-Filing Notice
The Community Park District of La Grange Park will be accepting nominating papers for the offices of Park District Commissioner commencing at 9:00am on Monday, December 14, 2020 and concluding at 5:00pm on Monday, December 21, 2020. Nominating papers will be accepted on business days between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm at the Community Park District of La Grange Park Recreation Center located at 1501 Barnsdale Road, La Grange Park, IL. The following three (3) positions are available for election:
Commissioner 4-year term
If needed, a lottery for simultaneous filings - 1.) All candidates filing for same office in line prior to 9:00am on December 14, and 2.) All candidates filing for same office submitting nominating papers between 4:00-5:00pm on December 21 - will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00am at the Community Park District of La Grange Park Recreation Center, 1501 Barnsdale Road, La Grange Park, IL.
*Our current hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Due to COVID-19, the Recreation Center is locked to walk-in traffic. Candidates may call 708-354-4580 and a staff member will admit said candidate for filing. *

Objections to Nominating Petitions: The last day to file objections to any candidate’s nominating petitions is Tuesday, December 30*, 2020. The Recreation Center will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to accept Objections. When you arrive to file your Objections, please call (708) 354-4580 for assistance.
*The Community Park District Recreation Center is closed on December 24 and 25. The Community Park District has extended the deadline to file objections to accommodate the objection period of five business days.
